ABRF Awards

The Asian Biological Research Foundation (ABRF) Prayagraj, India recognizes magnificent contributions of persons and organizations internationally for their outstanding services rendered in basic, applied and modern biological sciences including all branches of Botany, Zoology, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Environmental Science, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, and so on.

The ABRF confers following categories of awards and honours of international repute through search and nominations:

1. ABRF Lifetime Achievement Award (above 57 years of age)
2. Hon. Fellowship/Fellowship (FABRF)
3. ABRF Excellence Award for Environmental/Agricultural/Botanical/ Zoological Research
4. ABRF Global Recognition Award
5. Outstanding Extension Professional/Agriculture Scientist/ Social Services Award
6. Best Teacher Award for Agricultural/Botanical/Environmental/Zoological Innovations
7. Eminent Ichthyologist/ Environmentalist/ Ecologist/ Entomologist/ Geneticist/ Parasitologist/ Cytologist/ Taxonomist/ Plant Pathologist/ Physiologist/Biotechnologist/ Anthropologist Award
8. Senior Botanist/ Zoologist/ Biochemist/ Scientist/ Environmentalist Award (above 45 years of age)
9. Innovative Botanist/Zoologist/Scientist/Environmentalist/Agriculture Scientist/Biotechnologist/ Extension Professional Award
10. Innovative Biologist Award for Wild Life/ Biodiversity Conservation
11. Vigyan Ratna Puraskar (No age bar)
12. Paryavaran Shri Samman (No age bar)
13. Young Botanist/Zoologist/Scientist Award (below 30 years of age; mainly for research scholar)

Guidelines for ABRF Awards

• Only ABRF Life Members are eligible to apply for awards. The award selection is based mainly on API that will be examined and evaluated along with biodata.
• Applicant should ensure that he/she deserves for the award applied. Mere submission of award application does not guarantee the award.
• Award nomination fee is Rs. 1,000/-(non-refundable) which can be submitted to: Asian Biological Research Foundation.
• A high power award selection committee of ABRF will evaluate and examine the application form, API claimed and biodata of the applicants. The decision will be communicated to the applicant concerned. If selected for the award applied, he/she will be asked to complete further formalities.
• ABRF award application form and important information can be downloaded from the website: http://www.abrf.org.in 
• Incomplete form and duly filled application form received after last date will not be entertained.
• The applicant should mail the duly filled (1) award application form (2) award API form with nomination fee receipt (proof) and biodata to : secretary.abrf@gmail.com
